Still disappointed with the defeat of Sunderland, Wenger hoping to soon forget. Within a week Arsenal suffered two successive defeats, each of the AC Milan 4-0 in the Champions League and 2-0 from Sunderland. Results were practically more difficult for their chance to regain the title since 2005.
Wenger was deeply disappointed with these results. He also thought his team out of luck because the schedule is very difficult. But he hopes his team can soon forget the defeat. "I think we've tried to look my best and give everything. But these games are tough and we're out of luck so suffered two defeats in a row. A very difficult schedule also seems to affect the outcome of this," he said after the game.
At the end of next week they will also face a tough opponent that is Tottenham. However, Wenger expects to achieve full points in the games which will be held at the Emirates Stadium. "This defeat must be an important lesson and we should soon forget to focus on the upcoming game. Next week we should entertain Tottenham. This is not an easy games, but I hope we will achieve full points."
