Liverpool players were happy to be admitted into the League Cup champions, but also sad to see his former club to lose. Craig Bellamy is at a crossroads in sharing his feelings following a Liverpool victory over Cardiff City in the League Cup final before dawn.
As is known, Liverpool won the League Cup by a shootout, beating Cardiff City in a match at Wembley yesterday. The title became Liverpool's first title in six years. Bellamy said he was happy to be part of the Liverpool squad that brings success. But there are also a part of him sorry for Cardiff City lost the game.
"Luckily for us, but not for them. No one will remember what happened because it all just means another trophy in the history of Liverpool," said Bellamy told Sky Sports. "I am a little sorry for them, but the trophy is ours now," he explained. Bellamy was never an emotional bond with Manchester City at the time lent to Cardiff a few years ago.
