City Council Allow Chelsea to Renovation Stamford Bridge

The city council did not want the history of Stamford Bridge just disappear. Hammersmith and Fulham town council has given the green light to Chelsea's Stamford Bridge to renovate than to spend a fortune to build a new stadium to get a grandstand capacity of 60 thousand people.

In the last week, Chelsea's management stated they would renovate the stadium effort is unlikely to be accepted, and the plan could be doomed to fail. However, Hammersmith and Fulham council said it's possible to expand the stadium done. "Stamford Bridge is a historic home to Chelsea, and the council believes it should be a stable future," said council vice-chairman Nick Botterill told Reuters.

"We want the Blues remain at Stamford Bridge, and add capacity. It must be done sensibly without adverse impact to the local people. Thus, they could maintain their position as one of the top European clubs. " "We can not comment on the amount of money spent CFC [Chelsea]. But, if you move to another will take up more costs, such as that claimed the club. "
