Podolski is often asked about the Arsenal to Mertesacker, but declined to mention the possibility of moving to London. Arsenal defender Per Mertesacker claimed to have spoken with Luke Podolksi, and FC Koln striker suggested that in order to move to the Emirates Stadium in the transfer market next summer.
Podolski recently often been linked with Arsenal, and the news last mentioned he had met with a private agreement to join the London club. Podolksi although still refusing to give information about the potential move to England, this 26-year-old player never stops searching for information about the Arsenal.
"He's been interested since a few weeks ago, and had sent a short message [SMS]. I told him, this is a great place to work, and exceptional club Arsenal, "he told Sky Mertesacker. "Nothing has been agreed upon, and Luke has not given any signal to me. But it will all happen smoothly. "
