Arsenal failed to widen their range with Tottenham Hotspur after losing 2-1 to Queens Park Rangers at Loftus Road in the Premier League. This makes the defeat Arsenal in third place standings, only three points of fourth Tottenham Hotspur.

Tottenham a chance to match points Arsenal if they beat Swansea City at White Hart Lane. This was the first defeat of Arsenal, after the previous seven games always have won.
