Ferguson insists the operation for Valencia yet to be done. Valencia hit by a serious injury last season, so it must be embedded in an ankle foot plate that can be played back.
In this season he has had time to fit despite missing a few games early in the season. But he had to undergo to get rid of the plate. Even so, Sir Alex Ferguson is already discussing with Manchester United's medical team insisted that the operation can be performed at the end of this season and denied that the operation should be performed.
"I do not know where to circulate news of the plate in his ankle that needed to be removed. It does not yet exist in our agenda and have never discussed it. So Valencia did not require surgery in the near future," he said. "He never complained about his ankle and played very well so far. I could play at right-back position and he was able to do well. In the position of striker he even played better and made some important goals for us."
