Premier League is currently conducting trials of two goal-line system, and decided in July. Premier League managers are considering using goal-line technology in the season 2012/13.
The decision to use the goal line it would be done on July 2. Currently, Premier League managers are testing the application of the goal line by using two systems. Two such systems is Hawk-Eye and GoalRef. If one of the two systems is selected, then the 20 Premier League clubs need time to install these technologies.
League, has also invested development Hawk-Eye, and began talks with the International Football Association GoalRef before Board (IFAB) took a decision in July. "We welcome the action of the FIFA, and we will introduce and implement [technology] as quickly as possible," said the league's communications director Dan Johnson told the AP.
