The trial of John Terry After Euro 2012


Terry's lawyer reiterated his client was never issued a statement racist. Chelsea captain John Terry could quiet a while after the court decided to hold a hearing regarding the racist accusations against Queens Park Rangers defender Anton Ferdinand.


Terry stated to stand trial after the evidence on pointing was considered sufficient. 31-year-old player does not attend court hearings in West London today, and his lawyer George Carter-Stephenson QC Terry declared innocent. "Terry stated explicitly and consistently has never been racist as alleged," says Carter-Stephenson told reporters.

"Terry has issued a statement denied the racist, and will finish it in court that he was innocent of the accusation. '" Terry has never been racist against players throughout his career. "If Terry was found guilty, he only paid a fine of £ 2,500. However, a decision that could make Terry's reputation would have fallen so drastically.
