Bolton Wanderers: Fabrice Muamba Still Critical

Muamba is rumored to still be in intensive care. Although representatives of the hospital had issued a statement that Fabrice Muamba was in stable condition, Bolton Wanderers English midfielder said it is still critical.



Muamba collapsed on the pitch when Bolton undergo FA Cup semi-final to face Tottenham Hotspur. For ten minutes, the medical staff are working hard to restore breathing Muamba before finally running the 23-year player to the hospital. The game itself eventually suspended after running 41 minutes.


Previously, one hospital representative stated that the condition had been stable Muamba. However, the recent statement from the Bolton would indicate otherwise. "Bolton Wanderers Fabrice Muamba confirm that rushed to the cardiac care center at the London Chest Hospital where his condition remains critical at this time in intensive care," he told the official club website. "No other information could be released by the club today. Bolton also asked the media to respect the family's privacy at this time Muamba."
