Chelsea: Stamford Bridge's hard Renovated

Chelsea almost impossible to zoom in Stamford Bridge, which is unable to compete with Emirates and Old Trafford. Chelsea claimed their chance to move into a new stadium with a capacity of 55 000 or 60,000 spectators are very small.

"It is clear to the board of directors, the new stadium with a capacity of 60 000 seats have little chance of approval. We believe, after discussions with local councils, they also reached the same conclusion," the statement on the official page of the English Premier League champions 2010.

Chelsea adds, "The new stadium will cost £ 600 million, and requires the team to play outside the cage at least three seasons and, even if the cost is acceptable, the risk that planning will be very great." In addition to a new stadium, the option to increase capacity to 55,000 are also difficult to materialize.

"The cost per seat to enlarge the stands (to 55,000) is very high. Increase in revenue is not worth the cost," continued the statement. The Blues, who inhabit only stadium with a capacity of 42 000 spectators, had revenues from tickets is much less than Manchester United (76 000 spectators) and Arsenal (60,000), which reported revenue rose more than doubled after the move from Highbury (38,000).
