Per Mertesacker suffered an ankle injury. Arsene Wenger ensure Per Mertesacker had to end the 2011-12 season early due to injury.
Per Mertesacker had to enter the treatment room and the absence until the end of the season following ankle ligament injury. "As I am sure will be out until the end of the season," explained Wenger as Arsenal's official website.
"Basically, there are only six weeks left so I think he's not strong enough to return to play. He still had to practice and restore their fitness." Even so, Mertesacker is expected to be re-sod with the German national team at Euro 2012 event.
