Threatened Sanctions, Yohan Cabaye Ready Appeal


Newcastle United midfielder is ready to appeal against allegations of violence against Brighton defender Adam El-Abd. Yohan Cabaye threatened sanctions three games since getting into fights with Brighton & Hove Albion defender Adam El-Abd when the two met in the FA Cup fourth round last weekend. Cabaye seen kicking El-Abd when they fell on the ground and although referee Lee Probert did not pay attention to this incident, the FA decided to punish the former retainer of Lille.


Magpies coach Alan Pardew admitted furious with television coverage that is too focused to the incident. Pardew said the club will support Cabaye in his appeals. "If I'm honest, I feel angry, because when the incident happened I did not see anything wrong with it," said Pardew.
